Clare welcomes commission enquiries for portraits and other figurative work, including children, siblings, family groups and character-led paintings. Each piece is approached through observation, sensitivity and a strong sense of the sitter.

About commissions

Commissions are considered individually and may begin with photographs, sittings, sketches or ongoing studies depending on the subject and project.

  Selected paintings shaped by a setting, space or atmosphere.

How it works

01. Initial enquiry
Send a message with your idea, preferred size, timescale and any reference materials you already have.

02. Discussion and quotation
Clare will discuss the brief, confirm whether the commission is a good fit and provide a written quote.

03. Development
The work may develop through photographs, sittings, sketches or studies, depending on the subject.

04. Completion
The finished work is completed within the agreed timeframe and prepared for collection or delivery.

Pricing note

Every commission is individual. Pricing depends on size, medium, complexity, number of sitters and timescale. Quotes are provided after an initial discussion.
